making a \"bluff\" for my whole stack
sunday 215 warm up. still very early. villain has been playing pretty laggy and seems like he is capable of making moves. i think the only two hands he could have here that call and beat me are 77/44. i dont think he will call with any pair of queens (especially since he didnt raise PF which could eliminate AQ and possibly KQ). he could be on straight air or have 56/spades draw type hand. the reason im not straight "bluffing" here is i could end up getting called by a draw and win. thoughts?

Re: making a \"bluff\" for my whole stack
Most of his draws have nearly 50% equity against you, I think he very rarely has a hand he's folding, and of course if he does have KQ or a set, he's got you crushed, so even if that's a rare occurrence, you're probably better off folding.

I think he very rarely has a hand he's folding [/ QUOTE ] ditto. neither of you were the pfr, what can he really represent as a bluff here? what are you lead bluffing with that he can put you on? why lead this flop in the first place? |
Re: making a \"bluff\" for my whole stack
I can't see how this is possibly profitable. I also don't like the flop lead.
Why are we reading anything but major strength in a stiff C/R from an OOP player who wasn't the pfr? What does "straight bluffing" (sounds like a rap song) mean and why isn't that what this is? I don't see your push here as a semi-bluff if that's what you mean. |
Re: making a \"bluff\" for my whole stack

Re: making a \"bluff\" for my whole stack

Re: making a \"bluff\" for my whole stack

thats kinda nitty, no? [/ QUOTE ] no, because often I will have a hand like 56s that i can b-3b with. I don't need to win every hand I play and this hand on this board with this action is not a hand I need to bluff with. |
Re: making a \"bluff\" for my whole stack
i like donking a bunch of flops but this is a terrible spot to
