Drugs for tilt prevention

Is there any drugs or meds i can use to prevent tilt? My mood is really swingy. I've read "your worst poker enemy" and tried as hard as i could to follow its recommendations and to stay away from tilt but it's impossible. Am i doomed to be a failure in this life?

As long as you keep wanting to achieve, you will fall short and suffer disappointment. You will tilt. Play your best and leave it at that. If you win, so what? If you lose, so what? There is a space beyond emotion and apathy called subtle feeling. This is where you create yourself beyond environmental stimulus-response mode.

The best drug really depends on your body chemistry and is anyone's guess. I suggest the book "The Mood Cure" which is a good place to start balancing your moods without prescriptions.

Xanax or Valium would work but they both dull your mind. This would be fine if you were playing microstakes or live 1/2NL on autopilot but would suck if you actually had to think and keep track of your opponents.
