25NL - blind battle

Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 9 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

I have been playing for an orbit or two, but havent seen any play noteworthy. I admit I was multi-tabling and somewhat on autopilot, I had PT stats on the villian and have seen him limp with all sorts of hands. His stats are over 430 hands annd is running at 32/8/.6 with a flop AF of 2.25.

As played I thought he was on a bigger ace and I was good and wanting to end the hand on the flop, or if he calls he won;t improve.

Did I botch this hand? Would anyone have done anything different?

MP2: $15.60
CO: $29.10
BTN: $31.75
SB: $29.85
Hero (BB): $26.75
UTG: $22.75
UTG+1: $5
UTG+2: $4.90
MP1: $19.75

Pre-Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB)
7 folds, SB calls $0.15, Hero checks

Flop: ($0.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $0.25, Hero raises to $0.75, SB raises to $4, Hero raises to $26.50 and is All-In, SB calls $22.50

Turn: ($53.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

River: ($53.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

I like it actually. Hands like Xc2c or Xc3c to give him the big draw make up a big part of his range imo. Ax would probably 3bet this flop also since there was no raising pre flop, and his larger than average 3bet doesn't scream out 23 to me. A4/A5 are unlikely given your own hand...so i think your push looks good. Bummer that he hit that Qc on the turn

Thanks for the reply. My thinking was to ignore the minbet as he might have done it just to try and take the pot if I had gone into 'fit or fold mode.'

His raise makes me think 23 isn;t there ether since he'd try to slow play a little more. And as said I felt A4 or A5 are unlikely as well.

My push was charge the flush draw or any A.

Are there any other comments? Too fast? Too agressive? Do I have a bullseye for an avator?

I would like to see what his steal percentage is. If high, I think the hand went down well, if its low, then he may not push a4/a5/44/55 preflop and you are screwed. Its always dangerous going broke in an unraised pot.

Unraised pot, 7th nuts, going broke here sucks. If you're going to 4-bet it, do it to $10 and fold to a 5-bet shove.

i hate this advice, if youre not willing to go all in on thi hand then call his 3-bet and re-evaluate on the turn.

the 7th nuts is an easy allin the the villian is stacking off with the 8-20th nuts

aka its all relative
