I think I'd probably lead here for like $3.75 at least. Hopefully he raises w/ an over pair w/ diamond, if not any over pair and gives you action with any hand that has a diamond. I think c/r just scares him off on this board, and gives away the strength of your hand. Hopefully he gets it in his head that you are leading out with the naked ace or something.

How often does he c-bet? If it's high i'm still checking here regardless of the monotone board, but if its low, I'll donk here.

I'm leading about 100% of the time here considering relative position.

I like the c/r if he is rather aggressive and CBets a lot. 4bet is pretty bad news but I push here.
i just stoved three hands he could make such a play with:

11,600,876 games 7.281 secs 1,593,308 games/sec

Board: 2d 6d 3d
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied

Hand 1: 37.088% 36.29% 01.21% 4209704 139988.00 { AcAs, AdAh, AdKd }

I would have led the flop. As played, I'd push.

I'm in Microsoft class so I don't have the exact HH. But this [ QUOTE ]
Raise to $92.35

[/ QUOTE ] happened. I 4b shoved with the set and BTN tanked down his whole timebank and called with 98d. Turn 5, River 5, shipshipshipship.

Without being results oriented, how big of a mistake was it for me to c/r flop instead of lead into his BTN raise range? IMO, it might not be a mistake at all, if so very small, am i wrong? I just don't see how I can fold this hand even to his 3b over my c/r.

lol I agree

I would normally lead here, but nice read with the c/r
Get it in on this flop.

I don't think you can ever get away from a set on this flop in a 2-way pot. I don't think that would ever be +EV unless you were 1000bb deep.
