Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero pushes..

Like or dislike?

The table have been very aggressive lately and I have been waiting for a spot to resteal but have not got any good spots. The main reason I push with J6s is that if I fold and post the SB and BB I no longer have a resteal stack. Esp one guy (biggest stack) raised a few times and then folded to pushes but he got very good odds (one time about 3.5:1) and def had the chips to take the call. My image is def on the tight side.

Your M is 4.46 and J6s is about 50% to win against a single random hand.

I shove

Meh - I think you can find a fold here. It seems like you are playing amongst a fairly savyy bunch of players, so while their caling ranges aren't going to be a RANDOM HAND (as prior poster said), they will call you down fairly loose. I think that the biggest stack's tendency to catch on to what is up here plus your position UTG against four other players...Mets Suck....makes it a fold. God they suck.

Any more opinions on this one?

Re: J6s UTG (Live)

You don't have a restealing stack left imo

BB=1200
Preflop raise 2,5BB=3000
Pot preflop=5800
Your stack=12500
So every raiser gets 1:2 (if the preflop raise is larger than 2.5BB even better odds)

So I don't think your concern is to loose a restealing stack - you have a stealing-stack and J6s with 4 players left to act on a loose table is -EV pushing.

I'd fold

This should not be a consideration.

You're UTG with 10BBs...this is a mandatory fold. If u can resteal (at this table) with 10-12BBs, you can def steal profitably with 8. If big stack is opening so light that he's folding to tiny 3-bet shoves, then u don't really need much FE to 3-bet him... just shove for value and hope that he calls.

Got called by the button, he held AQo and I failed to draw out. In retrospect I think I shoulda folded even though the play felt right at the time.

If we get called, it won't be by a random hand.
