Someone brought this up a few pages ago but nothing ever happened with it.

does anyone have any good music suggestions? I'm looking for a new indie type rockish band and not finding much good stuff. I kinda like Fall Out Boy type sounds (and yes my friends let me know repeatedly how gay I am for liking Fall Out Boy so don't start).

I don't know how to recommend music to someone who likes Fall Out Boy, but I do have a pretty sizable collection of recent music. Can you give me anything else to go by?

two demos are up, both are pretty good imo. They're the reason why I'm trying to develop a better taste for good music.

Basically I'm a whore for catchy stuff (hence the Fall Out Boy love). Going through my itunes library some of my favorite bands are All American Rejects, Ben Folds, The Darkness, Death Cab/Postal Service, Gorillaz, Chili Peppers, Weezer. that enough to go off of? (don't make fun of me if my taste sucks)

The Cult. Great Rock n Roll. I have not heard their new album yet (though it's probably very good), but Electric and Sonic Temple are can't miss. Also, if you want a alt rock blast from the '80's try Love and Rockets.
