Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">SB 3-bets</font>, BB folds, Hero calls.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6SB, 2 players)

Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5BB, 2 players)
SB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">SB raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">SB caps</font>, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: 1BB returned to SB.

Results:
Final pot: 11BB

I don't think he could 4 bet as (semi)bluff. I put him on QQ+ and AQ,A7 or FD. would calldown be better? (or fold?)

I usually just call down from the flop. I usually don't raise at any point in the hand.

This is a perfect spot for WA/WB. If he has a big ace, you have him reverse dominated, and he's drawing to 3 outs. If he has a big PP, you have 5 outs. And if he's bluffing with junk, let him.

no shame in calling down dude. not every hand has to be raise or fold.

Definitely a call down. By raising you are just going to get the hands you beat to fold, and the hands that have you dominated will rob you. Definitely a either way behind or way ahead situation as mentioned before. With the villains stats the only thing you are beating is a couple of broadways. He is not 3 betting 66 and under. Definitely a good fold. IMO

I agree that calling down is standard play.

Buf if the villain wouldn't fold Ax (maybe he is showdown monkey, maybe I have aggressive image), is raising correct?

Letting him bluff river &gt; having to fold to a turn cap
