A quick remark about DCism

I've gotten comments like these a few times now:

your perjorative rechristening of a philosophy

He has done this and it's only been done in an attempt to troll ACists.

...so I thought I should respond.

For the record, I coined (as far as I know?) the phrase "Darwino-capitalist" (and the derivative, "DCist") because I believe that is a more accurate representation of the "anarcho-capitalist" philosophy than "anarcho-capitalism" is.

The majority of self-identified ACists on here appear to believe in, and even hope for, private law (ala the "DRO's" that get talked about from time to time); anarchists believe in no law, private or otherwise. The one item that seems pretty consistent across most DCists (on here) is their agreement that each individual must be permitted to make his own decisions and "the market" must be unregulated. This is simply Darwinian capitalism, and I prefer to say so, rather than acceed to the more common - and more spin-friendly - terms "anarcho-capitalism" and "ACism".

I'm not interested in (and do not use) the terms "Darwino-capitalism" and "DCism" as a means of trolling against ACists. My view of DCism isn't especially friendly, but my use of the term isn't (and isn't intended to be) derogatory.
