50/100 bottom set, dry board OOP

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $50/$100
4 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $16642.75
Button: $11340
Hero: $15197
BB: $10000

Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is SB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG raises to $350, Button calls, Hero calls, BB folds.

Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($1150, 3 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $650, Button raises to $2800

UTG is AAHeartsAA, Button is GiftofGab. GoG is pretty agressive. I get the sense he likes to push me off weakness. the history with him is that I 3bet him twice. He pushed against my cbet on a Q high [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img][img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] flop and I folded, then called on a 224 flop, bet a 4 turn and folded to my crai.

AAHeartsAA hasn't done much crazy at the table.

As soon as I checked I regretted it, because I think any lead I make gets raised either by air or by a draw/good hand fairly often.

Anyway, now what. Does a call look like 99 type hand? Push look like 45? Call and lead turn? Call and check turn?

i would call, check the turn, and see what villain does

I'm gonna go ahead and suggest HSNL for this one. In any case, I would have led but now that you didn't, I think you have to cold-call. Then I'd probably lead the turn.

I don't like HSNL.

wow what a strange/tough spot, this is a very unorthadox play that i'd rarely or never use but i almost like a just over minraise based on stack sizes...this screams strength but so does a flat call and so does a shove. flat calling and open shoving turn i think also has its merits, this is very interesting hand and i look forward to others responses

OK lets I call and UTG calls. What do you do on:

A? 6? K/Q/J? 8?

What UTG folds?

I like a cold 4 towning because its the only way you could convince them you dont have 22+ in this spot.

no matter what falls on the turn, i'm gonna lead half pot-ish. the only question is what do i do if someone pushes... and the answer is probably call no matter what honestly. you're not that deep, opponents are aggressive, pot is raised multiway, you are beating lots of hands no matter what falls, etc.

I cant decide if its possible to fold the turn if an ace or 6 rolls off.

Call, then bet turn.
