Standard Beat - Why ALWAYS the big pots (400bb)?

Live, the biggest pot I've won is $1200, I've been sucked out in $1100 (twice), $1300 (once), $1800, and $2200 pots. This is astounding given my biggest live pot win.

I just had a sick 7 buy-in dump at $100NL, stepped down to regain confidence. I'm plugging leaks and learning that bluffing is -EV. I digress.... on to my rant:

WHY DOES THIS BS ONLY HAPPEN IN HUGE POTS FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on, at least give me a "God Hates You" or something... I don't get any more or less bad beats than anyone else, but I swear I'm in the 99th percentile of getting bad beats at inopportune times.

well if you've lost a $2200 pot, this should feel over an order of magnitude better

Hmmm... it's the opposite for me. All my big pots I suck out and win.

I'm looking at it in terms of BB obv. I mean, if it was a 60BB pot I'd have a good laugh and move on. When it's a whole day's profit and it happens on a continual basis, I just want to go club baby seals.

BB had the nut flush draw, so it like you got in on flop 8:1 favorite, it was just a huge beat that the JJ won.

While this is true, the side pot was still 220BB. To boot, Kc and Jc ended up being spoken for.
