That makes no sense bud. Why would you call with 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] but not the straight. He wouldnt be shoving with a lower then 10 flush thats for sure. Its either nuts, or 2 pair.

[/ QUOTE ]

this is wrong, how can you think he would shove two pair but not a heart lower than a T?

Also I think trying to assign logical actions to players with these stats is pointless.

I would fold the river anyway

Turning 2 pair into bluff.

blah, what an annoying spot. I just don't see him getting this far with anything that he turns in to a huge bluff on the river. This line from a donk is typically consistent with a strong made hand (ime), and I don't like the idea of bluffcatching without a better reason to believe this is going to be a bluff often enough to outweigh all the times it's the nuts.

This doesn't even look close to me tbh, easy fold. He may be turning a hand into a bluff sometimes I guess but I see this so often from this type of player with an OK flush +. I def don't see it as nuts or nothing. Partly because he must have something so usually has some value in a check, and partly because players like this never bet/fold the river with a flush so often just stick it all in. Plus, from his point of view you could v easily have the nuts anyway. Damn annoying spot though.

Re: lol 4-flushaments

When I want to make hero calls vs these guys I often find that I'm overthinking the situation (I find out too late that is).

Obviously he can have the nuts here, but applying logic to the guys play isn't going to work a lot of the time. He could have had the flush on the turn and got pissed off on the river so shoved 76hh. He could be "overvaluing" any flush really, as he's probably that sort of player ... not that bad a thing when you're considering calling with the straight

Anyway, I don't feel like this is necessarily a nuts or bluff type situation vs this guy, and I personally feel that I usually overestimate how often this type of player will make a huge river bluff in general. On the other hand, I definitely give people too much credit when there is a 4-flush on the board.

1 vote for fold here.

I fold here vs described opponent b/c I don't see them bluff often enough imo, nevertheless they do value bet low hearts a lot ; I start thinking about calling with Qh, definitely calls with Kh.
