27T: 13x+ AQ utg 7,8,9h

Is standard raising the more optimal play here especially if the table is tight and/or has a few regulars or should I just take the unexploitable yet thin shove?
Even if it is most correct to shove here, what about deeper and/or a fuller table?

I think a standard raise works if the players are wise enough to see this as a straight value raise under the gun. I hate having to shove into all those players when you have a deep stack. But Obv you hate to see a shove. I definately go with a standard raise and sadly fold to any shove.

If you think a raise to 500 from UTG will get some respect, you could try that. Problem is i see too many hands pushing that you cant call, but couldnt (or shouldnt call your push.) Hands like 88-JJ, maybe even 77 from some of those stacks. Also AJ/ATs and such could play at you and if youre willing to call a push, you should push yourself. I think the decision comes down to whether or not you think this is your spot. If the players are bad enough or tight enough where you can use a positional advantage, wait. Otherwise, push. I think raising is worst option here.

Table-dependent and stake-dependent. At looser tables (generally lower-stakes ones) shoving AQ here makes good money because of people loving to call with A8s and AJ. At tighter tables, a standard raise to 450 is better (and folding to shove lacking a read).
