prop bet $20--->$2000

stuff like this gets posted every other day around here but still i wanna share. i just made a bet on takin $20 to $2k in 15 days. here's the deal:

1. i have to take all the money out of my account except for $20. (already trasferred everythin except for the $20 to my gf's account)

2. has to be on fulltilt

3. even money bet

4. cannot play more than 8 hrs on any given day

5. cannot sit w/ more than half my BR at any given table or enter a donkament w/ a buy in higher than half my BR (this will kill me in the last days/hrs if i'm only like halfway there)

6. cannot play more than 3 tables at once (this also kills me in the end if i'm not quite close to the goal and need to push real hard in the last few hrs)

6. other person will have access to HHs (if he wants) to check for chip dumpin, collusion, etc

7. have to start dec. 1 @ 12am and end dec. 15 @ 11:59pm

that's about it. i'll keep this thread up to date with my progress. wish me luck.

i've been playin $2.25 9-handed NLHE SNGs on my 1st day but have been runnin really bad and i'm down to $11.45 in my account. not lookin primisin @ all for me. i'll take a break, go out somewhere, then come back and hit the tables again. i'm prolly gonna change to PLO micro SNGs cos i think i have a bigger edge there.

I like these types of bets, but how could you only get even money?
Should have been more like 10 to 1.

I can do this with zero dollars to start.

Escrow it. I'll make $2k in real money playing play money poker. Won't even go to a real money table

Re: prop bet $20--->$2000

just bought myself a new set of rules. the original bet was my $2k against the other person's $2k. after a long talk we agreed that i was gonna add an extra $250 in return of changing the followin:

1. no bankroll management requirements
2. i can play up to 8 tables
3. i can play 12 hrs/day
4. added one more day to the challenge (now it ends dec. 16)

i realized i made a big mistake by not makin it this way from the beginnin (overestimated my ability like every f'in arrogant poker player does). i could've got it for even money but i think right now it's well worth the extra $250. will get back to playin later tonite and update b4 goin to sleep.

Julio--

That $250 was very very well spent. A very good player in your spot is a solid favorite now, I think.

Re: prop bet $20--->$2000

with multiple sites and new account bonuses this is very doable. playing full tilt i don't think its doable without a lot of luck.

In fact I think its possible to do with as little as 5-7 days of poker...and a few more days moving money about.
