Re: 100 nl ak confused

My thoughts about his action would be that he tried to steal the flop representing a king. Turn check means he didn't want to fire a second barrel (gives up?) and river bet that he tries to weakly steal the pot.
I would have bet the turn to see where I'm at.

given the lack of reads i'd play it the same. No point IMO to raise this anywhere. I would consider his lead on the flop as a bluff or an attempt to bet-3bet all-in.
i'm also checking the turn, and calling the river bet.

btw, i'd raise to 14 preflop, but it probably doesn't matter much.

I believe you're good on the river, but he doesnt seem to have much of a hand. This is actually a situation where i min-raise to get calls from worse hands, that would fold to a real raise.
I think you played the rest of the hand fine.

I think i push the river for value even against unknown.

raise river wtf
you're losing a LOT of value here against KQ, AQ. the only hand that beats you here is QQ, and i don't expect many villains to play it like this on the river.

Definately raise river.

I guess checking behind on turn is ok, but I mostly bet.

Wouldnt an unkown play AJ this way, representing the king on the flop, giving up, then thinking he rivered you.. I think we have him on this river and a minraise sounds nice. I also dislike the turn check, yes KQ just sucked-out again, but there are plenty of hands that would bluff that flop and we dont want to let them see the river for free.
