Hey Mat,

I have been gone for 2 months and had some time to think about what happened. I realize that repeating my qualms with how you do your job over and over again would a) change nothing ever. b) make everyone pissed off. c) be entirely unhelpful. So since I have come to this realization I would like my PITTM account back, where I can post, stay out of your way and enjoy the forums/help others enjoy the forums more. You can ban me from ATF or whatever if you think thats what needs to be done(I assure you, at this point it doesnt need to be done). But I would like to be able to come back and contribute again, but without the drama that took place before. Thanks for considering this.

Is that an apology? If you got an apology I'd be fine with letting him back in but I think his email is still calling you out in a subtle way.

Yeah, super bad idea. There's simply no way in the two months or whatever since his last episode that he's gained the emotional maturity necessary to overcome himself. And that assumes that you have forgiven and forgotten all the names he called you both in ATF and behind your back.

he's ok, but I can't really see him adding any value to the forum, or at least enough value that would outweigh his trolliness. I mean, how much do we really need to know about headphones?

while i'm agreeing with everyone else in the thread except db and el d (wtf, when did you guys start agreeing), am i misremembering, or didn't pittm create a number of other accounts to continue posting on 2p2 after he was removed? (i could easily have him confused with another poster.)

i forgive everybody. it's one of the things i believe he believes i do wrong.

another thing i do wrong is give the mods too much power. i believe he was banned by nt! when I said any mod can get him. as far as i'm concerned you guys can unban and ban him at will.

i really don't care for now.

Heh, I just remembered that CallMeIshmael correctly found him just a week ago in an RIAA thread and that account was banned, so yeah.

How do people spot him? Does he out himself on purpose? Or is it simply a style that comes through and people make accusations?

If he wants to be part of the community, isn't it the same old story that if he creates a new account with no connection to his banned ones then he should be allowed to?

I lean towards him not being allowed back as PITTM, but as long as he doesn't flaunt a new account is him, even if others suspect it is, give him normal posting rights.

You're right, that would be fun and funny, but I don't care -- I'm not the banning type of guy (only people I've ever banned are spammers, oh and nineinchal for 14 days) but I was just making the point that repeatedly bringing back famously permabanned posters makes permabanning a totally nonthreatening punishment?

"Permabanned! Wow, I guess I have to wait a few weeks to come back."

I think you're missing the point, which (I hope) is to mess with RJ and see if he 1) plays along, or 2) completely wigs out and loses it again. Such is my guess anyway based off of Mat and El D's responses. They're not just reinstating him unscathed.
