I just sat down at a Party 5/10 6-max table in the CO and was dealt cards without posting a blind. I double checked and, sure enough, there were two cards in front of me but no chips.

Since the two cards were a K and a 9 I raised one limper, got 3-bet by AJ on the button, and checkraised a K-high flop. The turn was a J and I won a nice size pot.

Next hand, got dealt AJ, won again, and left without ever posting a blind.

Blind-free poker rocks!

I've had this happen a few times as well. Rare, but a pleasant surprise.

there is a guy with like $10 bucks who plays 3/6 bad beat jackpot tables.. he finds a new table starting, sits at a seat where he wont be the blind, and leaves before its his blind. the guy basically freerolls the bad beat jackpot and never uses any money.
