wsop employee event

so who is playing this event? i was unfortunate enough to deal at the series last year, so i kept my badge and i'm playing this one. should be a good shot at a bracelet because last year the field was super weak and i have a lot more experience since then. fast structure but i have a lotta play in this type of event... gl to all those 2p2 playing.

huge lines shrink field

I don't know about anyone else, but I showed up at 4pm to register for the 5pm start (1hr early was plenty of time last year) and the line was about 1,000 people deep, many of which were there to reg. for tommorrow's 1.5k event. They pushed the start time back to 6pm and allowed late registration up to 7:30 and I still didn't get in. I heard there was less than 1100 entries, down from 1232 last year. I'm guessing it would've been 1500-2000 without the line problems.

Anybody know the last time a wsop event drew a smaller feild than the previous year?

Many casinos run their own freerolls for employees which qualifies a lot of donks for this tournament. The casino I work at sent a bartender and a cashier and neither of them knew too much about poker.
