****HAND ENDS****

All the time my "read" was he had AA but I kept hoping for tens or jacks. Very difficult to decide what to do here. Should I just have check/folded the turn or was I destined to get stacked?

Actually I had only 17 hands on the villain when this hand came up but I fealt strongly that he woudn't get aggressive without a very good hand.

Point is pretty much that I'd like to know if any good player would either just call pre flop and set mine or raise pre but just check/fold either on flop or turn with TT-QQ type hands against extremely tight passive opponent.

This made me LOL at work.

If your "read" was he had AA, then why did you bet the flop/turn?

Yeah I think I overplayed grossly but where to slow down? Just call pre or give up flop? turn?

Obviously fold to his PFR.

reraise preflop to narrow his ranges, then dumb when he reraises or if he calls just check down

imo obviously call if I'm sure he has AA.

Anyway after some thinking, best line would probably be to reraise preflop as was suggested and probably check/call flop and check/fold turn. Check/fold flop might be a bit weak because I assume he COULD bet AK or JJ there, but check down those hands after getting called.
