to me his range looks like QQ/TT about 50% of the time and the rest of the time sets of 99 and 77 thus I'd fold.

isn't a preflop call a bit to weak? I am in position against a guy who raises a fair amount of hands preflop and is passive postflop.

Your line is fine and I wouldn't have played it differently. By the time he starts leading, there's not a lot you beat - good fold
