House rental Las Vegas?

Hi, going to Vegas june/july 2008. Going to rent a house with a gang of grinders, can anyone recommend a site for house rentals? If anyone have experiences with renting houses in Las Vegas I would be happy to hear about it.

And also I am wondering how long upfront should I make my reservation?

How long are you going to be renting for? Normally people want tenants for at least 6 months especially if it's a group of young people and they want decent rental history, employment, credit, etc. You can check out Realtor.com and craigslist for listings. PM me w/ details if you're interested I'm a property manager and agent

Vacationrentals.com is a pretty good site. I found a rental through it almost 2 years ago. The house I rented had a pool, hot tub and all other amenities for $2100/month. We ended up staying for 6 weeks so it was a little more than that. All we had to do was give the guy a deposit a few months before. When we arrived we gave him a security deposit and paid him for the month. We got our security deposit back once we checked out of the house.

Good luck with your rental. Living in Vegas for a month is definitely a blast.

VRBO.com is where I got my place for the WSOP. They have decent 3-4 bedroom places there for around 2000/month... A lot cheaper than most hotels if you are splitting it with a few people.
