It would be nice if all (or at least a lot of mods, like MH, Dibs, etc.) had the ability, just for emergencies, to temporarily move threads to the mod forum, so that when really really bad stuff pops up (like underage pornography or whatever,) it doesn't stay up because there are no other mods awake.

I believe we will be able to do this when vbull is implemented mid november.

the only alternative before then is to make some people mods in all forums.

actually i'm going to mod mike haven across the board right now.

Mat may be giving a few more mods cross-forum modding rights, but it's really only for "vital" deletions and bans for when the home mods or Admins don't appear to be online. We won't be expected to do any "ordinary" modding.

Actually, as it's new to me, I am fighting with myself to stop being over-zealous, so if I make a few mistakes in the next few hours, please forgive me while I get used to the new experience of seeing deletable/bannable stuff, but trying not to take any action.
