I prefer the core2duo version of the same laptop.

If you are set on that laptop, you could consider seeing if there is higher speed memory (667 or 800MHz instead of 533). you could get a faster, but smaller harddrive (7200RPM instead of 5400RPM). Faster hdd and memory might be important for 8-tabling

Otherwise it looks pretty good. the screen is going to be VERY difficult to 8table on without an external monitor.

Yeah I think if ur paying that much u should get a c2d. Also I find 8-tabling impossible on anything smaller than a 17" monitor with 1920x1200.
