took a non-std line with top pair 600nl, thoughts?

villain is an okish lag running 32/24/3 ish (BigBossu for party regs) we have some history, he bluff raises cbets q. a bit, and knows i am capable of alot of moves id imagine.

Turn: ($307) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG checks, US checks

River: ($307) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG checks, US bets $220.00

EDIT: better put this in op. River bet isn't a bluff, it's a value bet. My flop raising range is usually pretty polarized towards air/draws/2pr/sets. That + turn check i thought looked pretty suspicious, so my river bet looks like a bluff. (problem is KQ made it, but meh) idk, too thin?

Im not sure? is this a vbet or a bluff? If you are trying to bluff QQ its not gonna work

nah i aint bluffing. Trying to rep some missed draw (problem is that KQ made it). i woudn't usually raise the flop with top pair, that's the key part of the hand. I figured that plus turn check looks really suspicious.

flop raise is very questionable.....i like a flat call much better since ur ip. is ur river bet a bluff?

hmm i think this is not bad, but i dont like it vs him. Bigbossu is not a OK LAG he is a spew monkey.

lol qq never folds here. if you want to move qq off their hand (bad idea) move all in.

also, the reason its thin is... if villain gets to the river with a showdownable hand, they still may not pay off, bc KQ hit. (as in, mid pair) plus, if they think you're solid, they're probably mucking it on the flop.

also, if they had airish type, they'd put action in either on the flop (3bet) or the turn (stop and go bluff) so you're probably facing something that c/c quickly (which wins) or c/f quickly (qhich missed)

sometimes you do get paid off but...

I generally like this line you've taken here, but this spot is weird because the only hands he can have here that might look you up that you beat are AT,KT,QT and T8. That being said, this is fine and it's good for metagame given you have history, but I'd expect him to check/call a lot of hands that beat you in this spot, rather than bet them himself.

id also expect him to fold most 10 hands bc one of the draws got there

I cannot see him ever calling with a worse hand, ever.
