AK pf shoving 5NL
I just started to play at 5NL and I don't know if hands like these should be played or if we should wait for better spots.
Poker Stars, $0.02/$0.05 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 8 Players LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter BTN: $11.79 SB: $9.74 BB: $3.95 UTG: $7.45 UTG+1: $2.38 MP1: $5.70 MP2: $12.71 Hero (CO): $9.94 Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO) UTG folds, <font color="red">UTG+1 raises to $0.17</font>, MP1 calls $0.17, MP2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $0.50</font>, 3 folds, <font color="red">UTG+1 raises to $2.38 and is All-In</font> |
Re: AK pf shoving 5NL
If you like flipping go for it. I usually wait for better spots but if you think that UTG+1 is able to pull some moves, why not call him. He is shortstacked, which ( talking from my experience ) makes a call acceptable.

Re: AK pf shoving 5NL
Your 3-bet was way too small. Make a real 3-bet and then call his shove because you're priced in at that point.
