Best computer speakers - recommendations?
 

Hi all,

I just helped put together a friend's computer system and was pleasantly surprised by her new Dell speakers. I liked that the rear was wireless but didn't like how it'd be difficult to mount properly. Sound wasn't what I'd consider home theater quality, but they were decent enough for $100.

What do you consider the best sounding speakers right now? I wasn't all that impressed with the Klipsch I've heard to date. I know Logitech sells quite a few models but haven't listened to them personally. Wireless rear speakers would be a definite plus.

I've always been a big fan of Altech Lansing:

and Bose:

but obviously Bose are much higher quality which means that they are much more expensive but I personally think that Altec Lansing is a great cheaper alternative from personal experience.

Thanks for the links. I just donated a pair of Bose 901's to Salvation Army. Looks like I should've sold them on Ebay.
