How bad is cold calling in loose passive NL100.
 

How bad is cold calling Axs, one gapper suited coonectors, offsuited connectors in late middle positions after very loose passive opponents. It's really hard to raise for me.

Do you play on Party?
When maniacs will push you very hard and never fold unless you show extreme strength it's usually better to overlimp in position with drawing hands and build the pot once you've hit and raise hard preflop with hands that have showdown value. It's a very transparent way of playing but will work very well against maniacs who just want raise the [censored] out of you.

Agree with kindju, but with a lot of ifs.

If you expect that:
- you are behind preflop
- the players left to act after you won't raise you
- raising won't let you pick up the pot preflop
- you can't bluff the players off their hands postflop
- you can still build a big pot if you hit

Then cold calling > raising.
