He obv didn't but we are pretty sure he did and push making it look like we're tilting. He pauses, calls with 33.

Re: Folding my Ak on this flop?

oh as for the turn, I'd prob call again, then make him 3 barrel. then u can fold sometimes and call sometimes.

but again, u can't fold the flop, like 2 hand beats u. 99 33 really.. unless u've seen him call A9 A3 OOP. then u can lean towards a fold on the turn if u don't hit u'r K.

Re: Folding my Ak on this flop?

This is definitely not a great spot but I think u should call him down (raising is terrible IMO), its a very dry board and a board u should be c-betting a lot on it, he could easily be making a play I think, he could be doing this with a strong ace (takes some weird lines right?) and I dunno how often sets play this board this fast but thats essentially all ur losing to - 99 or 33 playing this board fast.

I called and turn was a Q, bet/call or check and call river?

so i'm assuming he checked.

b/c would be pretty bad as he is so rarely CRing twice with air.

checking is prob best. if he bets the river, I don't think it would be an easy call. but u should call on some rivers.

What do you expect him to have? His check really confuses me.
I put him on lots of weaker aces. C7r and c turn with a set would be an amzing tricky line

Re: Folding my Ak on this flop?

taking the lead in this hand at any point after he check raises is bad. call flop, once he checks, check behind. I think you are against A9 or A3 a ton here and he is scared of AQ. no other hands really make sense that i can think of to take this line other than air, either way betting is bad.

Does SB not reraise here with just abwt anything a small percent of the time...10J/AX to find out where he is as this is a sick dry Ahigh board, or am i way of as SB is OOP...??

I'd check and call river.

Re: Folding my Ak on this flop?

Against some players it's really an obvious muck on the flop (I mean, if they never do it with a worse ace and never with air then AK isn't too pretty). Also, the BB is still to act and if he's as much as a donk as most with that sized stack then that would make a move with air a little less likely. It looks like this villian will do this with a wider range of hands though so I guess you can call and take it from there. Personally, I'd pretty much always check the turn if checked to, no matter what comes up.

You are basically never folding this flop unless you hate the monies. When he checks to you on the Q turn, a check behind is good. Call almost all rivers and value bet them yourself for around half pot if he checks.

While I agree, I don't think player shows up much at $5/10, especially on Stars.

I've seen loads of players at 5/10 where I am certain that calling the flop is -EV, but I've never played Stars and will stay away based on this!

But still, this is a steal raise vs 2 blinds caller. Unless villain is a super-nit, this can't be an easy fold on the flop. Many players will only cold call with AQ=AJ even ATs from the blinds.

Re: Folding my Ak on this flop?

in all likelyhood the SB is making a move on this flop, but if he's good and carries through on the turn and the board doesn't pair then I'm probably going to give it up. If he checks I agree check behind and call most rivers.

Re: Folding my Ak on this flop?

I have a feeling I want to fold this... I know my range with that play has AK beat pretty good. But maybe I'm not opening up enough with my postflop lines...

You have a read that he takes somewhat wierd alternative lines, I guess a call on the flop and fold to turnbet is my play. If he checks, check it behind and VB or call any river.
