Got in last night, staying at the Grand Waldo for the duration.

I think we should aim for a meet up dinner before the players party on the 22nd, then head over to that together. Can people please post if they'll be coming so i know how many to book for?

Just arrived in Hong Kong, staying here for one night. Great view of the Harbor from our hotel room.

Likely in for dinner meetup, wife coming as well. Will definitely be at the welcome party.

Maybe a dumb question, but all of the side tournament buyins being listed in usd has me wondering - will all those transactions (sit and go buyins, sydney satellites etc) actually be in hong kong or macau currency? It just seems weird that instead of $200 it'll be 1530.5 HKD, or whatever. Have already changed some $ for HKD but don't want to change the rest unless I'm sure we won't be able to use US $.

just arrived in hong kong too.

put me (JP) and my girlfriend (kristel) down for dinner also.

at appt manila all the tournament buyins were in USD. also macau and hong kong dollers are pretty much worth the same.

stayin at the venetian, since the waldo is full.
