penny PLO on Stars
 

I know penny tables are a donk fest, but should I be playing late position ONLY and only playing hands like double suited hole cards like 89TJ double suited and better? Any advice how to beat these tables would be appreciated.

I'd play any non trash 4 for LP if the pot is unraised. 80% of the penny players are ultimate calling stations and so when you hit a flop you can pretty easily stack at least one player. So rely on huge implied odds...I'd raise wraps in LP for value, and any hand that plays well multiway as your raises won't chase people away.
But again, I'm pretty lag and some'll disagree..

I started my current poker BR at $7 and played the .01/.02 PLO and played a tight solid game and brought it up to around $75, or so. Then I would go with the playing any 4 and trying to hit hard and stack someone. It worked out surprisingly well.

Depends on how much omaha you've played. If you're new to it, yeah, I suggest playing very tight preflop to avoid trouble situations. Double-suited doesn't matter so much, you're looking for your aces to be suited. Other suited high cards are ok but carry huge negative implied odds for the inexperienced player. Even with junky side cards, play AA & KK from any position, and play QQ & JJ from late position, looking to flop a set. Just nut peddle at these limits and never bluff. Be prepared to endure repeated ridiculous suckouts.

I know for a fact that these games are very beatable as I started playing the play money games before hitting the $50 table when I firsted moved from NLHE about a year ago. I would play AA-TTxx and any ungapped wrap 6543 and up from every position. Don't bother raising preflop as it is very easy to get it all-in postflop.

What's that? Don't agree? It's been a while, but I recall that it is very easy to get it all-in post-flop because there are so many players calling your pot raise from late position and your check-raise from early.

the lower the limit, the easier it is to get your stack in on the flop or turn. That was my experience with PArty and UB. Maybe micro limit Stars is super nitty?
