I'm not going to dick around w/ Travis Henry this week and need to pick a second back. I don't need a big game out of either as I should win this week but they need to put up an equiv of a TD + 25 yards. League is PPR.

Lee Evans is a top 5 WR this week for sure I dunno why they're so many polls where people are asking if they should start him.

Hey whats up with Alexandre ? I noticed all these people adding Morris, should I get him on waivers ?

Normally, this is a no-brainer. But we have a good QB against the best defense in the NFL and a so-so QB against the worst defense in the NFL.

Are the matchups enough to start Losman over Anderson?

The reason I leaned towards Holt is that those AFC East divisional matchups often tend to be ugly low-scoring games. Whereas STL/NO figures to be a shootout, and Bulger is almost all the way back.

(Though looking over some recent AFC East score logs, this isn't the case nearly as much as I thought. Maybe Evans, but both unless you have some other serious WR studs.)

My definite starter is Housh, so he doesn't touch the bench. I'm probably still going with Holt regardless of other opinions. I don't think there will be a big difference between the two, but NO has a terrible pass defense and a good run defense, so with Jackson still banged up Bulger figures to do most of the work. In addition, Miami has a TERRRRRRIBLE run defense and a not as terrible bad defense, so I figure Buf's attack to be much more balanced. Finally, Holt has put up a little over 10/game despite just about every factor being stacked against him, so I expect his production to get closer to elite levels now that Bulger is starting to get healthy

I would play Holt too. He's Tory freaking Holt. I swear everyone was benching Evans for Ike Hilliard 2 weeks ago (because it's not like Evans has ever overcome a slow start & bad QB play before)...
Standard overeactionaments I guess.

Kitna or Hasselbeck??

I initially had Kitna but having second thoughts now.... starting to think Hasselbeck might be a better bet.

skiier,

I'm on Kitna today as well over Hasselbeck. I think SF has a better front 4 than ARI and that is what made my decision.

Week 11

I just took over 1st last week, so I need some solid advice regarding my QB this week.

Favre vs. Car

or

Big Ben @ NYJ

I'll leave me own opinions out of it for now. Thanks.

I seem to pick the wrong qb to play every week, and its killin me. Regardless of who I play the other qb has the better day.

My qb's are McNabb and Brees. Last week I played Breese and of course McNabb goes off, and this was the 3rd week in a row I used the wrong qb. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: ***Official Fantasy Football Sit \'Em/Start \'Em Thread - November**

I voted Maroney but think him or Boldin is who I would sit. I pick Maroney over Chapman because Chapman will get the full load and see 20 carries, but Maroney never sees that many, and gets pulled at the goal line. Miami might have the rookie in at qb and will need to run the ball, while NE passes first, runs 2nd...Maroney is a big disappointment (0 tds) to most FF owners I would think.

But since you want consistent points I would think Maroney would get you at least 50-70 yds w/out a td, while Boldin might only get you 30-40 yds with or w/out a td.

I think this is a tough decision, but are you guys overlooking the fact that Boldin is @BUNGLES!?

I'm factoring in that he has been injured and as a result Fitz has finally been seeing most of the work. If his injury status has changed then it makes him an easy play, but he's been unproductive the past few weeks and it seems the lingering hip injury is the result

Colston @ Hou or A Johnson v NO

Seems Colston should be the pick since he has been hot, and AJ playing his first game since wk 2, but AJ put up big numbers in just his first two weeks, and was rdy to come back two weeks ago. Also Colston only has a TD in only 3 games this season. Do I play AJ against a weak NO def? Or wait a week and see how he does?

DonkeyKongSr 11-16-2007 04:20 PM

Re: ***Official Fantasy Football Sit \'Em/Start \'Em Thread - November**

I'm tempted to say Colston just because of slight uncertainty in Johnson being fresh and ready to play.

However, the NO Pass D is 4th worst in the NFL in both yards and TD's allowed. So, if you think Johnson's going to be his normal self, he should destroy them. The 2 weeks he's supposedly had at game ready health makes me think he may not lose a step.

SUMMARY: Close call. Colsten for fairly predictable production or Johnson on a little gamble.

Awesome choices at WR, and some meh choices at RB in a crucial game for me.

NT, palmer is the obvious choice then I'd probably go with Welker and Davis. The eagles fan in me thinks Brown is going to have a big game though.

Need one running back and three wide receivers. The one RB is conditional on Westbrook starting, so I've put the pole open for two to give me a choice if he doesn't.

Start 2 QBs, 2RBs, 2 WRs, 2 Flex (non QB), 1 TE 1K 1 DEF

Already plugged in Addai, McGahee, Owens, Braylon, Witten, Bironas and San Diego...
....Im 2nd in league as of right now, been starting Rivers and either Lemon or Huard but they have been benched and have been carried by my depth at WR and RB and couldnt work a trade out at the deadline to upgrade QB...I had already traded LenDale White for Rivers in WK2...and Kevin Jones and Dallas Clark for Braylon Edwards so I had a good draft aside from QBS

TJ, Braylon, Plax, Welker - Which do I sit?
Brandon Jacobs, Travis Henry, Julius Jones - Jacobs/Henry is the obvious play, right? (Damn you LJ injury!)
Detroit D against NYG, or NYG D against detroit? - I'm leaning Detroit D, fwiw
