stark,

I'd stay away from Chris Henry due to him just testing positive for a banned substance, not sure how Fisher will handle this. D'Angelo Williams is facing the best rush defense in the league on the road, doesn't seem like a smart play for someone sharing carries. So actually its a coin toss between Hicks and Henry...good luck.

agent,

Go with Dunn against the SF defense.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thanks. I've got Marvin Harrison too but just saw that he will probably play (was expecting him not to), so that will help a little bit.

Looks like all the Gore owners just cried out in agony. I guess I'm going with Warrick Dunn or Kevin Faulk. Any suggestions?

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow these options are terrible. I guess Warrick Dunn.

[/ QUOTE ]
Thanks for the advice. 100 yards and a TD. It was by far his best game of the year.

Pick 2:

Roddy White @ Car
David Patten vs StL
Muhsin Muhammad @ Oak
Jerry Porter vs Chi

If Deon Branch is healthy I'll be playing him, so if you answer please rank your picks in case I am only picking one from this group.

Starting 2 RBs:
Edge vs Detroit
Rudi Johnson @ Baltimore
Jamal Lewis @ Pittsburgh

FWIW, I have the Pitt D, although I was planning on starting the GB defense over them.

I would try to add Kolby Smith if possible if you have Holmes. I was reading on a site that Smith will get a majority of the carries according to Edwards!

Anyone know if Cutler's going to be good to go on Sunday? If not I'll just swap Rivers in in one league, but in my main league I'm not carrying a backup QB after Leinart went down, so I'd have a choice of these:

Lemon vs Buf
Culpepper vs Chi
Campbell vs Phi
Warner vs Det
Harrington @ Car

Which RB do I play this week?

Gore (most likely out)
Priest (picked up last week)
Maurice Morris (picked up yesterday)

I start 2 a week and the other is Edge.

Need a WR2 for week 10.

No PPR, +2 bonus for 100+ yds

TJ is my starting WR1, and I'm like 99% sure I'm done with S. Smith since Carr sucks and Vinnie did well 1 week, then got hurt the next. I just picked up Colston and Evans and not sure which should start. My gut is telling me Evans, and thats why I picked him up last night off waivers.

I go with Edge and find another back off waivers. Johnson is a huge disappointment and just sucks. Plus he faces Balt. Lewis, while he had 4 td's he had only 37 yds in 20 carries. The week before 17 for 61. And now he faces a tough Pitt def. I would think there has to be someone on the waivers better than either of those 2, otherwise I guess Lewis.

In terms of Def, I dunno, I would start Pitt. They have been so strong all season, I would have a hard time benching them against anyone other than NE, Indy, or Dal. Gb seems like a good matchup. Figure they give up 150 yds + 1-2 tds to AP, and then what else does Minn have? With that said I still go with Pitt because of the extra points they will get from sacks/turnovers.

I think it's extremely close, but I probably go with Holt. They're both starts over all but a few guys.

Count me in the not close at all camp. Evans has been on a huge tear of late and I really see no reason for that to change against Miami.

lol its a small 6 team league we threw together at the last moment. All teams are pretty stacked, but a lot of teams are hoarding players so others can't get to them. Evans was dropped week 3 or 4 and was sitting on waivers ever since. Also 3 out of the 6 teams rarely make moves. I try to whenever I can improve my team, even though I have a pretty good team...heavy at RB. Next year we will be doing a 10-12 team league because 6 teams seems like a crap shoot every week.

Re: ***Official Fantasy Football Sit \'Em/Start \'Em Thread - November**

Addai's a no-brainer for the first spot, I need two of these three to fill a RB and a W/R flex spot. The only WR option is Berrian but the numbers show Oakland hasn't given up too much through the air. They suck on the ground though (150+ yds/gm, 12 TD's) which is the only reason why I'm considering Benson. Yahoo's telling me Foster's often had big days vs. Atlanta and that Henry is questionable.

Choose 3... my league gets 1 point per reception, 6 points for a touchdown, and 1 point for every 20 receiving yards.

Ugh, look at this garbage I have to put out there this week, 1 week after taking over my conference lead...

QB - Losman
WR - Mason
WR - Henry
RB - Benson
RB - Watson
TE - Witten
K - Dawson
DEF - Eagles

BYE: Tom Brady, Andre Johnson, Earnest Graham, NE D
Injured: Larry Johnson
Bench: Dwayne Bowe

I guess there's not much of a question to ask. This is the best I can do with this lineup I think (Bowe over Henry?), and the FA pickings aren't much better than what I have.

Testaverde didnt practice today because of his Achilles. Rotoworld is reporting that the rookie Moore has a 50/50 chance of starting, and John Clayton of ESPN sounded like it would probably be Moore. I drafted Smith as my #1 WR and I'm finally sitting him this week. Even if Testaverde was playing I would start Colston/Evans or Holmes. IMO the qb's of the Panthers need to show they can at least get the ball in Smiths area.

Does anyone know anything about Chiefs RB Kolby Smith? Rookie out of Louisville. There have been rumors that he'll get the bulk of the carries over Priest Holmes.

Would you consider benching Jamal Lewis (@ PIT) in favor of Kolby Smith versus the Broncos' terrible run defense?

Thanks for any input.
