check/fold?

You're behind every legitimate hand he can hold:
TT+,AT+,KT+,QT+

And i'm not sure if he holds AT/QT vs AK/AQ/KQ enough of the time that he'll consider folding to a bet.

This second hand is WAY different than the first and I'm betting this one.

Is 3-betting 99 standard?

It seems like a light hand to be going to war with, and I'd be constantly terrified of a bigger overpair.

Yeh, I check/folded. What about the rest of the hand leading up to that?

preflop: could call and play for set value or carefully w/ one pair, but we often will win his raise right there, and often have the best hand, etc.

flop: sucks, but I felt compelled to chase any fold equity, you c-bet here?

turn: yeh, c/f, I guess.

I'm not sure, that's most of why I posted these. It seems like we're in good shape against the opening range of most players, and we'll probably pick up a bunch of pots preflop, right?

These postflop situations are probably a good argument against it, but it seemed 'standard' at the time...

Could you explain why betting would be good here? I'm not saying that checking is better, just seems like the choices are both bad and checking might cost us less.

If it were HU I bet every time.

If you dont not have a plan, cannot adapt your plan, or just play this flop, 3 betting is a bad idea imo
