a turn miniraise

I've never played with villain before this session. Hadn't noticed him until he did this:

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 4 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $591.96
BB: $201.18
UTG: $148.00
Hero (BTN): $206.55

Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 Players)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $8.00, SB calls $7.00, BB folds

Flop: ($18) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $12.00, Hero raises to $40.00, SB calls $28.00

Turn: ($98) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($98) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $44.00, Hero calls $44.00

Pot Size: $186.00 ($2.50 Rake)

SB had A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a pair of Nines) and LOST (-$92.00)
Hero had T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (two pairs, Tens and Nines) and WON (+$91.50)

Very next hand I pick up TT again, and we tangle again. I am happy with my overpair and will stack off to this guy. With that said, I realised after I checked to him that a big turn CR isolates mainly hands that beat me. I miniraise him to try to induce a bluff. Horrible?

He calls the raise and the river is ugly, what's my play then?

Re: a turn miniraise

i think i like the turn mr in position more. and i probably wouldnt do it vs. this guy. (i like c/r-ing turn for more alot here). or c/c and c/r ai on river.

as played c/c anything. i think he's likely to bluff alot. sortve sucks though, im sure he has some weird Ace combos in his range. i'm still c/c-ing though.

Re: a turn miniraise

what a vomity river.

do you think he'd raise a block bet with an ace (or air)? if no, then id toss out $40. worse hands might look you up still.

if you really want to see a showdown, and worry he might bluff you off your hand if you block bet, c/c most reasonable bets.
