JJ, Time to Make a Stand?

Villain 50/30 and extremely aggro. I originally was in for $100 at the table, but I rebought for $200 just to try and play a big pot with him. We had sparred in maybe a dozen pots before this. And he wouldnt stop rammin n jammin.

i think just shoving now is better

given reads, this is a fine place to take a stand

Why would you bet the flop against an over-aggro who you know will bet large when you think you're ahead?

Yeah, you have to push here. But it has almost nothing to do with your hand. I'd rather have a gutshot here.

i hate pushing. that allows this guy to call when he has it, and fold when he's on a bluff.

and im fairly sure that if i just call the bet, he'll shove the turn regardless of his hand.
