winning in tournaments

ok so this last week I have done 2 5 draw tournaments. Out of 800 or so in limit I made it to the final 2 tables. Last night I finished 2nd in a 1400+ PL. Granted these are for $1 or $3 or something low like that but does that have any indication that I got some sort of concept or just lucky. I do very well playing holdem and I have recently started dipping into other games to spread out my poker playing skills and learn other games.

I do have to say after learning and playing well one game the others seem to be easier because of watching betting patterns and thinking of what they could have.

there's also a daily 5.00 and a 10.00 p/l mtt @ stars and a 1.00, 4.00 and 5.00 limit mtt @ stars daily. smaller fields[100-500], 15 min. blinds, and kinda tuff... but if you're grinding thru fields of 800-1400 @ other sites, you should be able to hold your own @ stars [or at least cash a lot]
