1$MTT Good spot to re-steal?

1$ tournament

Villain has been very aggressive in position, he has however folded to a re-steal from bb (i think it was a re-steal, he went all-in over his raise anyway).

I have had a lot of pretty good hands, so might viewed as a bit loose if he is paying attention BUT i have only shown down good hands.

According to Bond18's article on stack sizes, Stack sizes are perfect (i have 16 true big blinds) just don't know about the situation.

Also, repopping to ~4k and jamming any flop is ok too out of the blinds, I prefer this with better holdings, it's an option when you have a hand with value.

Based on reads, I like it, nh

All things you mentioned make this is good steal spot, but you have to consider one more point which is crucial to restealing: Table Dynamics.

Was it the last orbit that BB pushed over the BTN raise? If so, the button will call lighter.

Have you been raising/reraising one or more of the last hands (you described your image as loose..)? If so, the button will call lighter.

Now if we give the button a very loose calling range, you need a hand that plays ok vs that range and I would like it much more if your cards were suited. That adds ~4% more equity when called, and I think this could make the difference with these table dynamics.

I raised with AJ when i was UTG+1. The re-steal was two orbits ago.

Anyways, the sucker called with A9, i sucked out and am now cruising towards the final table. Wish me luck.

I don't really like this play. If you have won alot of pots without showdown, your image (if any) is aggro/bluffer. Doesn't matter that you have only shown good hands.

I'm not sure what you mean by "true" BBs, but your bet is more than 22x BB over a 2.5x bet. This looks like a bluff and micro donkamenters will call here with KT+ A2+ 22+ pretty frequently.

I usually fold here and shove for value with ~A8+ KQ and most pairs. The fact that you have seen him fold once doesn't mean you have FE...
