WSOP tough spot?

all the players at my table were quite bad...

UTG+1 is new to table but has played quite a few hands in the first three or four orbits...seems weak.

Hero 31k
UTG+1 27k

blinds at 200-400 (20 minutes till break)

hero has A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG+1 raises to 1200 and all others fold to me in BB and I call quickly.

FLOP A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check knowing he will bet and villan bets 3000

I insta-raise to 9000 and he shoves....

Easy call? Easy fold? neither?

results to come...but I called....

TPTKTD = nuts.

Sorry if he had a set but there are a million hands that he could have that you dominate (QhJh, 8h9h, AQ, AK) and a few that you are barely behind (AT, A9). You almost have pot odds to call against his set if that was the only thing in his range... how is this even a question?

Take this crap to BBV b/c it definitely doesn't deserve any discussion in HSMTT.

LOL I can't even remember the last time I went over to RGP to look around. I'm heading there now just to see if it's really still around.

The OP decided that he should have bet more preflop stating:

[ QUOTE ]
Any lower of a pre flop raise and I might have been up against 3 or 4
others lowering my chances from 84% to maybe a coin flip.

[/ QUOTE ]

He finally got frustrated by the lack of responses stating:

[ QUOTE ]
Hey all I was looking for was some advice, like not go all-in when the
2 diamonds fell on the flop or something like that. My odds dropped
from 84% to 57% after the flop. I was just curious how "experts" here
would have played it and their thought processes around it. I guess I
expected too much to have an intelligent conversation.

Dawg. RGP is EXACTLY where this thread belongs.
