Re: AA fold?

I don't think BTN has a draw often given flop and the fact that you have the A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I think you're facing an overpair + 7x or 2 overpairs. WA/WB scenario - 120 to win 476; I think you're facing 2 overpairs at least 1 in every 4 times this scenario occurs. I would call.

snapcall

MP has a 7 never (and thus a range you slaughter), and BTN can have a range of hands (from flush draw to QQ-TT to 87/76) that you're ahead of

Wouldn't u push a seven as button w/ orange raising a board w/ a flush draw??

Stoved it:

Board: 7s 3s 7h
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 57.454% 56.05% 01.40% 376584 9408.00 { AhAs }
Hand 1: 08.288% 08.29% 00.00% 55680 0.00 { KK-TT }
Hand 2: 34.259% 32.86% 01.40% 220752 9408.00 { TT+, 33, A7s, 97s, 87s, 76s }

I didn't include Ax spades in his range either, and it's a definite possibility that BTN has an overpair here too, right? If I put a decent range here, it looks like you definitely call this. Can you post results later? =P

Hell, you could take 33 out probably, so yeah, looks like a call even though I think you see a 7 here a lot.

why aren't you reraising preflop ? if opening villain is loose aren't you giving him a cheap look at the flop to crush your AA's

then you are giving the guy on the button a chance to limp with hands like 78,67 ....

stop thinking like a super abc for once.

I agree with scatt man and eagles. Flatting here is entirely unnecessary.

Re: AA fold?

so you're cold calling preflop just cause its abc 100% totally standard to raise and you don't want to be labeled an abc player?

Jesus christ just raise and get more money in the pot with the best hand.... and don't flame people for telling you the right thing to do

Curious what your reasons were for calling PF if you just sat down?. Surely a loose opener = easy raise/isolate..
I snap call flop..

Re: AA fold?

I like eagles comment on cc preflop only when you know there's a squeeze abuser behind, this hand plays itself so much better if you 3bet preflop on that same board. BTW, I'm not saying you got to play ABC poker every single time, but when you decide to go elsewhere, I believe you've got to have a reason for making that play. My personnal belief is that if I can't explain to myself, why I made a non-standard move in a given situation, I made a mistake.

In this case, you provide us with too little information about CO and the players behind to make me appreciate the play.

With that said, it's such a tough spot. It feels like you're beat, but you get 4:1 on your money, so I like a call here.
