Do you have a read here? You could probably fold the flop.

Without a read, he either has a K or a flush draw.

Fold the flop.

Re: a good spot to call down?

In these situations against an unknown, I peel the flop looking either for a T or an 8. I prefer to do this when I have a BDFD/BDSD handy. In your case, you have 1 out to a BDSD like 6789T or 789TJ and then also 0.5 outs to a BDSD of the JQ variety. Both of these require the 8 on the turn, though, for you to continue. So total, you have 1.5+2 = 3.5 outs (12:1) on the flop here for the times you're behind. The flop has pot odds of 8.5:1. That means that you need to be ahead here ~3% of the time to make up the difference, which is definitely possible.

So I'm ok with the flop peel. Once the turn comes and it's not an 8 and your opponent still shows aggression, you're down to 2 outs when you're behind, and probably a lesser percentage than 3% of the time that you are actually ahead. This is where it's an easy fold.

str8, I think you are overcounting the bdsd outs, as some of those include a 4-flush on the board.

If you call the flop, it's with the intention of showing down UI unless draws start getting there. The turn completed the only obvious draw he could have, so...
