Poker in Talladega

I believe Talladega is the largest infield in all of racing. It is comparable to a small town during race weekend. (public transportation system, police force, etc)

Every good town needs a live poker game. Anyone ever played in any good games in the Talladega infield?

I once played a high-stakes poker game in the infield at a NASCAR event. We did not have any chips, so we used 30-packs of Pabst Blue Ribbon. We put tinfoil over a BBQ grill and used that for the poker table and the bug zapper was good for providing additional light. We probably should have played limit though, because it was difficult finding a folk lift to push all the 30-packs everytime someone went all in. Lesson learned.

While this was a good answer for a noob, I'm not sure if you have true skillz in this area (based on your 5 posts so far), or if you just got lucky.

I'm looking forward to further work from you- you have potential (and a good, simple avatar... that marks you as a masochist)

This, however, looks like another stupid drive-by post by another visitor from other forums.

Is someone offering 2 for 1 show tickets, that I didn't hear about?

Well if anyone will be running a game at the Oct race. I would be down to play, PM me.

There will be at least 3 players that I know of interested in a game staying in or near my RV spot.
