Actually, I like check/call flop, bet/fold turn UI. Especially if the turn is a diamond.

If he calls the turn bet, check/fold river UI.

I like this. Myself I also always had a problem with the whole bet flop, check turn and fold to his bet on anything... it feels so weak, but there's not much else you can do. Your line might actually be better.

against a complete unknown i would c/f. there's too little in the pot for me to lead out against an opp w/o any reads. i dont want to be called and have to lead a blank turn when he might call me down with an 8 no matter waht hits.

2.5 bb isnt worth fighting over oop with bottom pair bad kicker.

check and only put more money into the pot if you improve.

HU I like a bet or c/c, donk. Betting definitely gets better in looser games.
