Create new accounts for rakeback?

Can this be done with minimal risk of getting banhammered?

I've been on Stars and FTP for a couple years and am not receiving any rakeback. Could I open a new account on FTP and do this?

Has anyone else done this? Are the risks substantial?

I feel like I'm giving my money away by not receiving rakeback, advice appreciated.

i did it on ftp and they caught me after about 7 months. They did nothing but close it and put my money back on the original name, no big deal really.
