Re: CYOA: Toria-ran Keep

Vote Bluff.

Here is why he is better than Kbar. There are certain things wolves do when they are likely to be lynched, there are certain things villagers do. Kbar isn't doing any of those things. He is proceeding with a calm rational analysis of suspects and villagers. This doesn't clear him by any means, but it does make me uneasy.

At first I was just going to vote Bluff, but I realized how bad that would look if Kbar was lynched and turned up villager. Bluff has done what I would do in his situation as a wolf. Namely keep your mouth shut and dissapear. His posts have been wolfy and I am not lynching anyone for information.

Vote Bluff.

I think Bluff's most villagery post is his comment about Neil S... Bluff seems truly upset with the Seer claim and Neil's game actions. As a wolf I think he tempers his response more.

i think wolves and villagers alike were pretty mad at neil stevens cause he was trying to break the game.

I forgot to add that if Kbar is a wolf I think the odds are high that he is building a case against another wolf.

Books, that is a solid and good response. I am also having doubts about kbar, but he has also said incredibly wolfy things (especially directed at me).

As an aside, I have become convinced that the most effective defense in almost all cases is to keep your mouth shut.

this i am not sure i agree with. With the game split, i dont see the wolves fpsing anything. if a wolf is on the block, i would think he would try to get us to vote for a villager.

Your other post i agree with a lot and gonna reread but may switch to bluff

Not hinting at you, you have been posting a ton. I am just saying that if I am Bluff, and I am a wolf I make myself scarce. We all know that disinterested and AFK people are generally villagers. People who absent themselves at key moments when they might be lynched are often wolves, and are completely correct to play it that way.

Mark, I disagree. In the spirit of the game, I would expect everyone to be upset with it. Just as everyone should have voted against durron's ribbiting earlier to give info. No matter what a players role, that kind of stuff is not with the spirit of the game.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree with you completely. However, he was one of the few out of the 30+ players that Vocally said that he would not play/mod in another game with Neil because of his actions. (Pre-apology of course)

Your right, all type of players could say this but I give him some +villager points for it.

BTW, on re-read, I think that there is an excellent chance Durron was posting in Morse Code.

I don't have time to decipher it now, but just want to make you all aware in case he and I die.

FWIW, i am a villager, and imed neil and told him how i feel out of the game ... posting how you feel about it in the game is sort of an angleshoot -- and a wolf could do that

so basically --- i am not putting any weight on that

Re: CYOA: Toria-ran Keep

Here is the argument for kbar:
75%+ of his posts have been to the tune of "LC is a wolf." However, he has still taken the time to try to change my mind. This is very, very creepy.

[ QUOTE ]
Kbar, did you kill dmk because you thought he peeked zurvan?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes

[/ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]

[ QUOTE ]
In my mind, those kind of posts don't do the village any good. I thought it was clear it was a joke. I answer the same whether I am a wolf or a villager, and didn't feel it necessary to spam the thread with "contentless" posts like that. I was joking, but it's not something to be forgotten either. I think too much attention is being given to it, but why take even more time away from the village by dwelling on it?

[/ QUOTE ]

If one holds any weight to thinking that post makes a person more wolfy, that person would simply not do it. For most of his posts, kbar has given off that feeling. However, that particular line may betray his true thoughts?

That said, dead air, dead villager, all of that good stuff.

** HEROIC STRATEGY CONSPIRACY POST **

If the entire group meets up with the other entire group to join up, we lie about the result of the lynch to gauge reactions. I.E. If we were to lynch kbar today, and he was a villager, we would say "We lynched kbar yesterday, kbar was a wolf!" or, if we were to lynch kbar today, and he was a wolf, we would say "We lynched kbar yesterday, kbar was a villager. "

I'm pretty sure the reactions of the other side will give us some information.

Going through yesterday's events:

I find Lucky's last second switch from Jared to Aaron last time a little suspicious.. That switch and the extra power vote pretty much threw the vote Aaron's way... Hmm...

Because you voting bluff is my only chance. Whether you are a wolf or not, I need your vote right now.
