Stars Themes

Since I reformatted my computer, I have been unable to download the different PokerStars themes. The software appears different in terms of how text is formatted, but everything else is just the same as it was before I reformatted my computer. Have I missed a setting that allows me to do this or is Stars not letting you download different themes anymore? I'm not trying anything different, just clicking on Themes... and clicking Download.

Re: Stars Themes

i have gotten random reports of this happening to different people.

some have been able to fix it by re-installing a fresh download from pokerstars and others haven't. when they try to install one of the pokerstars themes (marine, stars, hyper-simple, etc.) the hourglass just freezes and nothing happens. a couple of people said they were just randomly able to reinstall the themes for no apparent reason.

e-mailing stars support has not been any help for this particular problem either as it appears to be completely random.

I heard from couple of friends who were having problems with this, and it was their firewall which blocked the download.

Re: Stars Themes

Try installing a Theme without logging on i.e. from the lobby when you first start Pokerstars.
It worked for me with the Firewall both off and on.

When I try it after logging on it doesn't work.
