My stats on villain were like 26/24 after a small sample, i think he was running hot for a brief time (hence the highish preflop raise %, but nothing to tell me he was bad or getting out of line. That said, what should my line be here? 2) I realise that based on image etc i should probably call this river (him thinking that i am possibly on tilt, he could be value betting a 9 or a 10). But based on our knowledge of him (not out of line etc) should i call this river? His random river lead seemed like he'd hit a 7, or had hit some sort of straight on the turn, or a flush on the river. Is he value betting a 10 or 9 here (or random bluff..) enough for me to fold to this bet? Even though it's low stakes (and party) that the average player is terrible, i felt he was "solid", even for a $50 NL party player. Thoughts? Thanks. |
Re: $50 NL - KK gets bet into on the river, history with villain
Hand 1: seems ok, i don't think you can always expect his line to be AA or KK always. unless you know they guy well and know he only raises superpremium hands, i don't think you can just fold AK here.
Hand 2: pf and flop look good. on turn, you could take 2 lines: 1. check behind for pot control but since the 2nd flush card is out there, i think betting was good 2. bet like you did. checking behind might not be too bad since i find it hard to believe he would call your flop bet with a running flush draw. and you say he is "solid" so, checking might be good and calling/betting the river. |

1. i think you're racing at best in hand one, have you seen him 3-bet light? looks like JJ-QQ.
2. horrible river card, prolly a fold. stats? |
