Villain is vapezilla, taggy, spewy when tilting, but overall decent. He is running hotter than the sun when this happened, particularly vs. me. I've seen him win about $6k in the past five or ten minutes...dunno if this makes him more or less likely to bluff, but I am guessing less likely, since he has been active and isn't stuck so probably won't make any super crazy moves. So, wtf?

I can't think of a single better hand he'd ever play like this so I call.

call vs him the only hand you're worried about is 77 and he will have some bluffs but more often like 79 T7 57 Q7 suited

imo he is NOT taggy and very loose

i agree, this seems like 77 or a worse two pair going for really thin value...

too me this looks like 68... it's a double-gutter on turn and well disguised, so why not go for a check-raise, since it's hard to put u on a hand? Just saying since noone seems to think it's possible hand....

imo, scary board, no flush draw, doubt he has j8 here.

why didn't you follow up with a c-bet on the flop with middle pair to see where you stood?

Re: 2pr vs. river c/r

I've only played him a few times, but I don't think he bluffs here that often, unless he just lost a big pot or something.

I fold.

Re: 2pr vs. river c/r

I would call here since you look weak here and its really hard to put villain on a strong hand here.

also, wtf is with all the people still posting this "bet to see where you are at" stuff. so, if you get raised that means we are beat, right? I come off a little harsh here but it strikes me quite surprising that it is still possible to see this at a high stakes forum.
