In one episode of 8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter, Bridget asks Paul to let her attend USD because of the beach and the Men's Basketball team. The University of San Diego campus is used for several scenes for the movie Almost Famous. The University of San Diego campus is used for multiple scenes for the television program Veronica Mars.

We're known for a stunning campus that over looks the beach, the bay, Sea World (fireworks!), and the surrounding areas. Over one million dollars a year (literally) is spent on landscaping/grounds upkeep.

We're also known for incredibly rich (first maserati seen in real life? on campus) students and alumni (including Jenny Craig, and Joan B. Kroc, wife of the founder of McDonalds). $$ = loads of hot girls, and up until 2 years ago it was a 2 to 1 ratio of girls to guys. If everyone's in a bikini year round, you have to look good, right?

Middle Tennessee State:

Our women's basketball team had the nation's longest winning streak this year before they got beat in the second round of the tourney (26ish games).

Also, our mass communications program is supposedly very good. I signed up for that reason, but didn't realize it was so renowned all over the country. We have people from literally every state that are here just for mass comm, particularly our recording industry program.
