Re: value of cards

No pair beats a straight. A straight is five cards in numerical order such as
You hold 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
and the flop is 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
No pair can beat this hand

Re: value of cards

OP: Are you talking about hole cards? Perhaps you're getting beat by someone who has a pocket pair, with the board cards turning it into a full house. Straights are frequently beaten by flushes and full houses.

LOL you didn't look what you were beat by? Dumb questions are OK in this forum but please at least use 1 molecule of brain power before posting - like looking at the others cards before asking why you were beat.
