ROI - What is a good target for small live SNG\'s?

For small $40 live SNG's - two places 60/40 splits.

Any idea of a good target as a winning percentage? So far (11 SNG's) I've invested $440 and earned $686. Is that expressed as an ROI of 56%?

Correct on the ROI.

Don't worry about ROI... sample size. Make correct decisions.

I'm just looking for a general idea. I'm new to this type of play but not new to poker. I gave you - eurythmech - no reason to be an A**hole about answering. I guess your parents forgot to teach you, if you can't say something nice, then "stfu."

I have to agree with the eurythmech comment - must be a 23 year old. What an idiot!

If you look most of his posts are moronic - ignore her.

not knowing many details, I'd say you could expect an ROI to top out around 30%.

Even if you could possibly come close to playing enough small live SNGs to have an idea what your ROI is, the games would change enough over that time that you still wouldn't know.

But, aim for somewhere around 400-500% depending on how many people are playing and what the rake is.

400-500% seems a tad high for ROI don't cha think?

Even assuming it would be possible to know what kind of ROI a world class player, or at least a very good one, could achieve in your POS live SnGs - what good could it possibly do you to know this number?

Just try and learn the game, work on identifying your leaks, then work on your leaks. Improve, post hands, get better.
Raise your expected ROI.

But never will it be of particular use to ponder these types of questions.

Not really. Live games are soft. 400-500% is definitely sustainable. But, I guess I should let cha speak for himself.
