$25NL JJ Versus Ultra TAG

In retrospect this is probably an easy, easy fold with villain's stats of 26.32/5.26/0.71. Any other thoughts on the play?

Meh, hand looks OK.

Just commenting to say 26/5/.7 is not an ultra TAG. It's an aberration, like a unicorn. or a mutant.

Those aren't tag stats. But they are the stats of someone who doesn't know how to play poker and doesn't want to see QQ+ cracked. Fold and be happy he sucks so you didn't lose more money.

No, fold is best here. His range is just too tight, he hasn't gotten out of line at all to that point and it's just a losing play longterm. Really disgusted by that play; his range can't be anymore than JJ+, AKo, AKs with those stats; small sample but the his flop line gave me such a huge chance to save a BI; absolutely no reason to go broke against an opponent like that in this spot, just a huge losing play. Bleh!

I'd probably fold this the first time he does it

lol

don't post hands like this then. you obviously had a strong gut feeling and we are seeing it in a vacuum. fold then and don't think twice about it.
